2008-Year for
decision!.
This is
the time for action. The events of this year can make
the difference between life and death.
Pray for our
nation. Participate in your voting opportunities.
Look to the future with an understanding that you can
make a real difference.
None of
us wish to see the horrible plight this picture of the
tank brings to mind. Many countries have resorted to
this kind of force to suppress free expression and totally
enslave masses of innocent people, even massacring
women and children to extinguish every trace of free
expression.
Could
such happen in our own country? Of
course, it could! We have seen movements in that very
direction. Some of our very own high courts'
judicial decisions
have at times actively pursued a course to
banish our own Constitution! Many of us have fought hard
to petition Congress against passing bills that would restrict
religious liberty and we have struggled against
the legislative efforts to afford abortions freely
at all stages of pregnancy and we have voiced our
opposition to muffle the right to protest,
etc.
Yes,
2008 promises to continue the battle field, except in an ever
intensified struggle. We urge all of you to stand up and
be counted this election year. It just may very well be
possible to initiate recovery from the important ground we
have already lost and secure our nation for our children's
future.

Pondering
Questions That MAY NEVER BE
ANSWERED!
nfortunately,
questions
continuously come up, but
no real hope for an answer from those culpable court and/or
legislature officials even to notice, much less to deal
with any of these questions on any level. This statement arises
from past experiences that give the impression that those of
us who raise such questions are so very irrelevant and
insignificant as to be less than a silent echo against the
black depths of iron-fisted rulership. Nevertheless,
for the sake of our visitors
whom we desire to bring our earnest concerns to the
light for the purpose of evoking a desire for the
whole truth, we shall proceed with a few of these questions to
which we have herein alluded.
Specific questions related to the
so-called Gay
rights issues (see Open Letter to ABC) have
never been addressed by officials.
As for example, in California Proposition Eight,
reflecting the voters’ decision, faces a threat to be declared
unconstitutional!
Question: In light of
California’s Constitutional provision for being amended, it is
a mystery to many of us how the provision for amending that
constitution is itself unconstitutional; how would such a
procedure be different from declaring that constitution null
and void? If the
judicial and legislative actions declare the voices of the
people through their votes to be unconstitutional because they
seek to amend the constitution through constitutional
provisions to amend within the framework of the constitutional
provisions, how can it be possible that the people’s will can
be overrun simply on the opinions of the legislature and
judicial whims supported with nothing other than their ideas
per se with no need for justification from any
source?
Furthermore, in
that same light, since voting can be no other than a sham to
be discarded at the will of the officials, why on earth waste
the taxpayers’ money merely to go through the motions of
voting, since the taxpayers have no real rights anyway?
Just as importantly, why are the officials
toying with retaining the term democracy when their state
governmental policies have ushered in a total break with
democracy? The people have no voice and the elite
rule!
Nevertheless, after this wonderful Christmas
Season as we look toward a new year, let us never lose our
sight at what God can do in spite of those who spit on our
faces and exercise unrestrained contempt for us because of our
allegiance to Christ.
In the final analysis God will
triumph over
all!

Shariah
Law
hariah
Law promises to be one of the greatest challenges to
the survival of our free world! The
anti-defamation of religion proposal through the United
Nations especially reeks with protecting all Islamic
expressions, expanding Shariah Law to be enforced throughout
all the world, thus removing all freedoms and disallowing
expressions that are not approved by Islam. We who have taken our
liberties for granted may well be in grave danger of losing
those liberties!
This can be no less than a matter of life or
death. We need to
take seriously our enemy, Satan, as he exploits every avenue
to destroy Christianity.
Christians must pray for God’s intervention, that the
eyes of all freedom-loving peoples will be opened to this very
serious
threat.

Freedom
from Atheism!
ight,
freedom
from atheism makes just as much sense as freedom from
religion! However,
the Freedom from Religion activists promote the total
obliteration of religious freedom and freedom of speech
associated with ideas alien to their purposes. On November 25, 2008,
a suggestion was posted for consideration; that is, the
organization of Freedom from Atheism, which would counter the
Freedom from Religion activists. Of course, such a
proposal grew from an outrage that any activists group could
propose to represent American values and act in contempt for
the freedom our forefathers established—freedom of religion
and freedom of speech.
While we do not seriously consider focusing our efforts
on the actual establishing Freedom from Atheism movements, we
hopefully have uncovered the contempt the Freedom from
Religion activists hold for our
Constitution.
Let every America be aware of the threats
here.

Freedom
from Religion Strikes Again!
Right,
a case in point
surfaces as Freedom from Religion couples with the ACLU in a
lawsuit against Colorado’s Day of Prayer. It seems that they’re back on the same track, seeking
to eradicate all who differ from their opinion, for religion
offends them.
That’s right, eliminate all offenders. Everyone must concede
to their views or else face lawsuits. No one is allowed to
exercise freedom of religion. Oh, well, let them
have their freedom from
religion.
This brings some of us to consider organizing a
Freedom from Atheism movement. In case that offends
certain groups like Freedom from Religion, we’ll
concede when we learn how such duplicitous policy could
conceivably issue from our Constitution and the spirit of our
founding fathers, who established our nation to guarantee
freedom of religion—never freedom
from
religion.
If any of the visitors to our site would care to
comment on the notion of organizing a Freedom from
Atheism movement, please respond through our
Email.

The
Aftermath!
We
must
exercise
restraint! Else, can we lay claim to being different from
those hostile forces that move heaven and earth to silence us,
the authentic Christian voices of
America?
We must refuse to rationalize in thinking that
resorting to extreme measures would serve the ends of
justice. Even
Adolf Hitler exercised that rationale to justify his sordid
effort to eradicate the Jewish people, for in his twisted way
of thinking he had a vendetta to destroy a whole race because
of certain Jewish people who had, in his own perspective,
wronged him and his family when Adolf was only a boy. Can we learn from
history?
Hence, following this election, some of us feel
a need to act from our own disillusionment with hatred
prompting us to hit back hard. But wait! Does anything justify
our action from other than the character of an authentic
Christian? If we
do, we presume to usurp the role of God Himself! We are also conceding
to the enemy of our souls, the same enemy that gave rise to
underhanded maneuvers of those whom we bitterly oppose. Let us guard
feverishly against that enemy which prompted Adam and Eve to
become their own gods, independent from the true God. Reflect upon this and
understand that the true God does not call upon any of us to
take His place and lash out from
hatred!
Neither are we to concede to that force which seeks to
destroy Christianity and all that has moral and spiritual
values—including sanctity of life issues, traditional marriage
issues, banishment of freedom of religion and freedom of
religious speech, etc.
As a matter of fact, the newly elected candidates have
already gained impetus toward rushing through Congress the
fairness doctrine (a misnomer for the act of
silencing Christian broadcasting) as soon as they assume
congressional seats.
Scores of other slams appear on the horizon, including
banning all restrictions against so-called abortion
(again a euphemism for outright torture and murder of
unborn children), appointing Judges to the Supreme Court who
would legislate from the bench, violating separation of powers
within our Constitution and totally making the
legislature superfluous and
irrelevant.
“How can these Justices openly violate the
Constitution?” we may
ask. Of course, legally they cannot. But then our society
has moved toward a tolerance for lawlessness with impunity and
allowed the Justices to live above the Constitution. Hence, even the
Constitution, viewed by such Justices with contempt, has been
relegated to total
irrelevance!
But then how can we fight this? The
truth is, we cannot.
It is not possible for any of us to move these gigantic
mountains. Our
battle is the LORD’s.
He alone can deal with such corruption and vices. But what
is our role?
Surely, we do not resign, sit back and do
nothing.
Absolutely, we do have a
role. Upfront, we
must seek the LORD with all we are through prayer. We need to become
totally transparent in the presence of our God. Then, we need to lift
up Jesus wherever we are and in all we do. When we lift Him up,
He can transform, dissipating the
darkness.
John 12:32 addresses this issue
from the lips of Jesus: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth,
will draw all men unto me.
This verse shows
us that Jesus, Who speaks, has the drawing power. Moreover, He is
the way, the truth and the life…
(John
14:6).
Again, Jesus declares that we, His disciples, shall
know the truth and
the truth
will set us
free.
That is the key! In our
surrender to the LORD, God Himself will exonerate us,
completely allowing that truth to shine brightly, clearly
revealing both reality and
deception. When this happens, we
may still face opposition, but that opposition will find
condemnation before the LORD. Whether we ourselves
escape or not, we know that God designs all things to work for
our own good to His glory (Romans 8:28), and even if we die
for our beliefs, such will be but a transition for us who are
believers from here and into the presence of the Almighty
forever.
In many ways the enemy has already assaulted
us. For example,
Senator Charles Schumer has already raised his hatchet. In supporting the
fairness doctrine, the Senator has in so many words
declared that he does support the ban on porn on the
airways. To be
nondiscriminatory, it will be only fair to ban Christian
broadcasting also!
That conclusion entertains such
prejudicial hatred of Christianity that the Constitutional
guarantee of religious liberty is dismissed with utter
contempt.
CAN WE IMAGINE BEING LOOKED UPON AS A TYPE
OF PORN!
However,
should we really be surprised? But the Scriptures
further give a stern warning against those who
call evil good and good
evil, etc. (Isaiah 5:20). The world at large
does not create truth.
Yes, we know that many arrogant, self embellishing
people create a box for themselves out of their own pride
as they are educating themselves into imbecility. Sadly, such
officials should be pitied more than despised, for many of
them act upon the premise that God is
dead.
Yet, we who have the truth know that God cannot be
defined by the thinking of people. In reality, it is
rather that the truth has died
within those officials (John 8:44).
What is the Christian response? We must
pray for our enemies, for those who despitefully use us or
persecute us. We
must pray for ourselves that we’ll show forth Christ, lift Him
up, live and die by the truth, for
our LORD Himself is the truth. Then, we must make
ourselves available for God to work through us, in us and with
all God has given us.
We need to remember that God is in control
and has allowed our enemies to be in office for a
purpose!

Avoid
the Doomsday Perspective!
Unless we
resist the tendency to withdraw from reality into the spirit
of doomsday, we’ll certainly defy the very reason for our
being here for this crisis in history. God
remains in control! If that exclamation seems a bit overstated and
trite, we need to be reminded that this election does not
define God. It
merely reflects the destitution of humanity apart from
God. And,
possibly a bit disconcerting and insensitive to the outrage
for some of us, God
still loves these people; He continues to love the whole
world, irrespective of how brazenly crass and rebellious many
people demonstrate,
God
still loves everyone!
This understanding does not remove consequences,
rather expresses God’s continuing outrage at those who
are in grave danger of destroying each other along with our
nation. True,
Christians face very difficult times ahead, but we find ourselves
strengthened and supported by God’s grace, love, mercy and
care, something our enemies do not have, but shouldn’t
we rather seek their conversion in place of
doom?
We need to think and pray for our enemies, even
from the presidency to the lowest official, that they may
somehow encounter God in a life changing experience. May we continue to do
this as the Bible admonishes us to
do.

Urgency
of Voting!
Incalculable damage can be
incurred through negligence!
That can easily be observed through failure to
vote. How often
have we heard the old cliché Bad politicians are often
elected by good people who do not
vote?
Thus, voting really matters!
While it should never be our position to dictate
to anyone how to vote,
we would be absolutely remiss to fail to ask everyone to be
informed before voting. We should further
remind voters to keep in mind issues far above the
charismatic and persuasive gestures of the candidates. To be very wary of
promises based on unreasonable claims and unrealistic
expectations!
Let us always dig beneath the rhetoric and get at
the issues, to understand how each candidate stands on each
important issue.
If we fail to be informed, we can fail our
country, our families and the culture at large. Let us vote, but vote
with a clear understanding of issues and
consequences!

A Patriotic American Reflects on His
Country.
Admirably, an old American veteran
speaks out for his country!
His reflection draws deep sighs of regret as he
remembers the old authentic
America where men of guts and
backbone were indeed genuine
red
blooded Americans!
Yeah,
those were the days all right. I can see it clearly,
just like it happened yesterday. People were decent
back then, not under a cloud like we are. Not out to cut each
other’s throat.
Oh, there’re good people today, I know. But they generally had
decent people to represent them back then. Most of them kept
their word in Congress and the President might be wrong
sometimes, but at least he was an American and didn’t push
indecent ideas, like baby killing, nor telling religion to
shut up on issues, nor keeping religious people from
influencing politics, nor shushing ministers by threatening
IRS
action to take away tax exempt status. Those real Americans
didn’t have to fight for their freedoms back then, at least,
not like we do now.
Now we are in a battle to survive, but with all the
forces against the true
America,
I fear we may all be swallowed up by this very liberal
sinkhole.
Oh,
yeah, I know the economy is important, but all this turmoil
that’s tumbling the market erupts out of the mindset much of
this new emerging so-called
America
has generated through greed. The economic condition
is a symptom. We
need to look much deeper to the source. We have been told in
colleges and universities that there just ain’t no morals, no
absolutes; that religion is a fairy story; that our
forefathers were superstitious idiots. Well, excuse me, but
under the stability of those superstitious idiots we
had much more freedom and happiness. Crime was hardly a
problem, except in the early West where some armed bullies
killed their way into power before law and order could be
established. And
now we have power thirsty Congressmen and judges who seek to
destroy what made America great, her religious heritage and
decent disposition.
Well, I think it’s far past time that we restore law
and order in Congress and some of our courts. I think these
anti-American bullies need to be pushed back into the jungle
with other uncivilized cannibals. They should fit
perfectly into that godless
environment.

A Trap Set by Greed!
The
threat to our economy
has
been the outgrowth of greed!
The unsettled stock market reacts
to the continuing crash of banks and other shaky financial
institutions.
Much has been the price such
institutions paid for the greed of executing loans to highly
unqualified applicants.
Our society at large has lived in a
fantasy world of here and now
exemplified through charging with no thought of future
consequences or borrowing through home mortgages
with deliberate blindness to future inabilities to make
payments. There
can be no wander at the large number of foreclosures and
filings for bankruptcy.
Perhaps in the back of the minds of
many of these institutions and individuals, the thought
of the role of government as big daddy
ready to bail out and excuse the attitudes that led to
the massive bubble that burst with impressive consequences
fostered the indifference.
But to the
honest and alert Americans the knowledge of the consequences when God and
morality have been invited to exit our society in no uncertain
terms, there can be no surprise regarding the economic
downturn.
Where do we
go from here? Perhaps those responsible for the banishment of God
from our concerns need to ask the honest and credible
Christian community.
These Christians may shout with the unwavering
truth: Invite
the God you have rejected to enter our society and exercise
His authority over the affairs of our
nation!
The only way our nation can know if
this call to God would work would be in the execution
of the call. But if we as a nation
would cling to our darkness and dismiss such a call without
even so much as examining its claims, we seal our doom, much
to the satisfaction of the ACLU and other
American enemies.

So,
What Else is New?
Complaining
may
release our concerns and deliver us from some of the pressures
within, but otherwise there can be little substantive
resolving of the dreadful arbitrary execution of
the militant gurus who thunder their god-complex
with rumbling echoes throughout the halls of higher
education.
Sure, by this time we should never be surprised at
their hostile denunciation of Christians who enter their
almighty thrones of iron-fist rule and flaunting power to
demand that every mind of every student become a replica of
their own ideologies without the least variance
whatsoever. From
this narcissistic elevation above all other ideas and any kind
of free expression, these gods of the educational domain must
demand everybody else bow in reverence before them and
acknowledge that no one else beside they have the right to say
what is proper educational procedures and indoctrination. Anyone bringing
original ideas and facts for consideration must be held guilty
of insolence and barred forever from the portals of higher
education.
But
how do we respond to this ruthless terror? Since these masses of
professors flaunt themselves from a perceived invulnerability
far above the law and common reasoning, they trump the
Constitution and all mores and laws that would restrict
them. Obviously,
they gloat in the impenetrable arrogance and conceit they
delight to radiate from their greatly inflated egos.
Our nation has
produced in large measure a generation of wimps, who approach
violators with a kind of kid glove and seek to reason with
them. These
Hitler-like geeks with iron fists merely laugh at such feeble
attempts. We need
those who would cease to make the Constitution of the
United
States irrelevant and
the laws without bite, genuine men who would, like Patrick
Henry, stand up with backbone and guts enough to enforce the
Constitution and the laws of the land and restore free speech
to the classrooms.
Our nation can no
longer be looked upon as the true America in
which many of us grew up. We sense sadly that
our nation has drifted into the black clouds of deceit and
exploitation.
Let us pray for a
rebirth of the genuine
America!

Clouds
Are Brewing!
Quite
a mix,
the
churning and rolling dark clouds on the horizon portend
perilous times ahead! The Muslim cartel threatens to override every
other nation’s concerns within the United Nations and secure a
haven for Islamic religion from which to eradicate every other
religion throughout the world. Every
other religion (obviously Christianity being the core target)
must not utter a single word against Islam or Islamic beliefs;
such utterances can provoke severe punishment, often
death.
Should this become forced through the
United Nations and become international law, only one religion
in the whole world could exist to act with impunity to force
everyone to become a Muslim or to face death!
This blatant aggression characterizes these
extremists. They
can never be geared to deal with truth, for reason alone would
be enough to discredit their claims. Thus, these Islamic
terrorists find only one avenue open to establish their
claims, that of brutal
force!
May we be reminded
that our God has uttered, you shall know the truth and the
truth shall make you free (John 8:32)!

A
Politician Speaks With Contempt!
Absolutely,
a current
candidate for office exploded with denigrating fury with
respect to any biblical reference in legislation!
He proceeded to show certain
disgusting elements within the Scriptures, among which were
inconsistencies and even contradictions, such as the order to stone women
and children in the Old Testament (Joshua 7:24; also
compare Dueteronomy 3:6 wherein the children of Israel were
commanded to slay even women and children with the sword) to
the extreme demands of
the Sermon on the Mount in the New Testament. This politician
sneered in words to this effect: Which of these opposing
notions should congressional legislators consider in promoting
legislation?
No doubt, this politician expressed the
sentiments of many who see the Scriptures as glorified fairy
tales, embellishing religious arrogance and intransient
snobbishness among ministers and Christianity as a whole.
Granted, Christianity by virtue of its unique
claims produces its counterfeit echoes in much the same
fashion that authentic money gives rise to
counterfeiting.
As those with criminal dispositions seek to take
shortcuts to gain wealth by means of counterfeiting, those who
seek to bypass authentic Christian demands reflect a grossly
distorted picture of Christianity, an actual counterfeit reproduction
of the Christian faith!
The question then we should consider: Does the counterfeit
undermine the credibility of the
authentic?
If that were true, authentic currency could not
be used with any degree of trust. Quite the contrary,
the authentic currency becomes a means to discredit the
fake. The
government does not spend a good deal of time studying the
counterfeit but determining every aspect and detail of the
genuine currency.
That confidence regarding authenticity becomes a basis
to reveal the flaws within the counterfeit!
Likewise, genuine Christianity must provide the
evidence to discredit the many flaws within the fakes.
For it to be genuine, Christianity must be
founded upon the source of its origin. We clearly find that
source within Scriptural revelation. Hence, the Bible must
become the criteria for judging the authenticity of
Christianity itself.
This does not mean that those outside the empowerment
by the Holy Spirit, Who gave birth to the writing of the
Scriptures through inspiration, can truly understand the Holy
Bible (I Corinthians 2:14).
Hence, those who are made alive by the Spirit of
God (John 3:5-6) express God’s life within, having God’s
perspective regarding His Word. This assessment comes
not with a flaunting arrogance, or a better than you
separation, but with a heart of gratitude for God’s
grace. It flows
with a realization that we earn nothing within our own right,
but receive the mercy and grace God extends toward us through
the Cross. Such
disposition causes us to look toward those who have never come
to the Light, those who are in darkness and even those who
strike out against us with genuine love, for except for God’s
grace, all of us would be in darkness without recourse.
Therefore, this disposition brings us to a trail
of recognition:
First, God has absolutely no limitations. He remains forever infinite. That term simply means
He is not finite;
yet, the infinite
God created time and space, the continuum for finite
existence.
Also, God can never be less than sovereign. He has absolute and
final power and authority. Out of His sovereignty
He created everything and brought the avenues of redemption to
His creation. No
force beyond God exist, much less held any influence over the
actions of God.
Furthermore, God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. That is, He is
all-knowing, instantly present everywhere at every moment of
time and all powerful.
Thus, God can have no blind spots or weak points.
Yet, among God’s many other attributes, holiness provides the
unique central core that sets God apart from all else.
That is, God is totally other than His creation
and nothing within His creation can reflect this
character. We may
even say that God’s holiness as revealed only by God through
His Holy Spirit, gives us a glance into the immeasurable
unadulterated pureness reflected to
make God’s children aware of the lofty majesty of God’s
worthiness. This
pureness undergirds God’s faithful righteousness, equity and
justice. This
holiness takes on special significance through the expression
of His love (Isaiah 6).
These attributes provide an astounding
uniqueness to God’s agape, that is, God’s
unmerited, unconditional and absolute love. We see this as God
moves throughout history. He created Adam and
Eve and placed them within the perfect environment to worship
and serve God by choice.
Had God allowed Adam and Eve to have no choice by
failing to place the forbidden tree of the knowledge of
good and evil within the garden, Adam and Eve would have
never been able to express freedom to love and serve God as an
expression of their wills. Yet, because of the
tempter, the serpent, representing Satan, these first human
beings fell, declaring their independence from God. Within that rebellion,
they brought upon all humanity the fall which entailed
suffering, hardships, loneliness and death. This fall brought with it a
curse upon all
humanity.
But God did not leave His own creation to
absolute destruction.
He started with Abraham to set a nation aside to serve
Him that this nation might expound God’s message and salvation
to the entire world (Genesis 12:2).
To be sure, there
rose many quagmires and distractions for God’s people, but God
in His sovereign intervention blasted the awareness of His
people with respect to the seriousness of their trivializing
sin. Through
leaders, such as Joshua, He sometimes commanded the
unthinkable, such as the stoning of women and children. To us such an act
seems savage, as indeed it should. And it would be except
for the new element of God Himself. Since God is sovereign and
knows all things from the beginning to the end, He is in a
unique position to make demands to a primitive people. He wanted to
demonstrate to them the hatefulness and radical nature of
evil. But why women and
children? God
knew their future and may have done them a great favor in not
allowing them to grow up to suffer the ravages of a wicked
society. We must
take into account that God could have allowed some devastating
diseases to wipe out those women and children, but then the
children of Israel would not have
learned the lesson of how savage and awful sin’s consequences
can be.
History shows that
the children of Israel did not
completely heed that lesson, but the experience left them
without excuse.
They were finally shuttled away into captivity and
suffered greatly for their rebellious nature against
God.
Yet, God would not be defeated. Indeed, Christ, the
second Adam, born without sin, became the perfect sacrifice
for sin.
Jesus began to
teach His disciples God’s true nature as reflected beginning
with Matthew, chapter five. This message did not
reject the God of the Old Testament, for the Old Testament
paved the way for the fuller revelation through the New
Testament. God’s
purpose could not be defeated by His rebellious people (Acts
17:30). Yet, in our day and age
with the fuller revelation, we could never be justified in
stoning women and children or to do many other things of the
primitive people of the Old Testament.
Thus, Christians
do not necessarily hold to some fairy tales. Quite the contrary,
genuine Christians see beyond the surface through the eyes of
the Spirit. God’s
life flows through such understanding. History will
ultimately justify their understanding. We shall know the
truth and the truth will exonerate us (John 8:32).

Assault
on All Sides
Foreign
invasion assaults from
every direction! It’s almost like
some sort of nightmare from which we cannot
awaken finally to find ourselves back into
reality!
The foreign
invasion? Simple. Look at the renegade liberal
Congress. Congressmen bask in the capara of their
darkness, openly showing contempt for the Constitution of the
United
States. This Congress has brazenly
snubbed with derision, not only the Constitution of the
United
States, but the very
reason our forefathers founded this nation. They have howled
against any suggestion of religious liberty and the
accompanying free speech thereof by seeking to enact the
so-called fairness
doctoring!
This effort along
with the refusal to give a constitutionally mandated up or
down vote on nominees for positions of judgeships along with
efforts to quarantine Christianity from any expressions
whatsoever within the marketplace and any and every hostility
possible on ever level against any spark of decency speaks of
the present darkness ruling our nation. This coupled with
so-called ruling and laws of states such as
California and
Colorado pitches us
against a very dark and bleak
future.
But why should we as Christians be
dismayed? Does
this reveal to us that we are entering a night of spiritual
struggles which the Bible has already warned us concerning
these last days?
For us who believe, this is the darkness before the
brilliant appearing of our God, the Lord of lords and King of
kings!

The
New State Religion!
How
can
this be? The Constitution
absolutely forbids any state-sponsored religion. Try telling that to
certain liberal judges who have seen the Constitution as
irrelevant and totally ignored it with apparent impunity while
legislating from the bench their tyrannical rule! Take
California, for
example. The
California Supreme Court ignored the legislature and the will
of the vast majority of state citizens and determined gay
marriages to be legal!
In addition, consider the dangerous bill that
Colorado’s governor by all
expectation will sign into law. The law will go so far
as to place heavy fines and prison time on any convicted
violators, including Christians who by conscience cannot
conform. This law
demands such extremes as rights of anyone merely
claiming to be transgender or almost any other claim to have
rights to use restrooms designated for the opposite
gender.
This means that gender will no longer
play any role in the selection of a
restroom.
Imagine a lady’s restroom being violated by a
brutal man who boldly intrudes into the private affairs of
women, threatening merely in his presence, causing a panic
exodus. And
such tyranny reaches much broader and deeper than space and
time would allow for
description.
This philosophical approach herein becomes the
state religion which denies and
restricts all other religions which would oppose that
philosophy.
Christianity must remain silent or face grave
consequences.
Free speech will be an outdated privilege of the past.
Only one point of
view can be tolerated—that of the imposed state
religion!
It can be very frightening where all of this
leads, especially if this coming election places into our
federal government like-minded liberals. All of us will enter
an age of total darkness where no light will be allowed to
penetrate.
However, there remains one great hope for
Christians. Even
if such comes to pass, God’s grace will be with us and God
will eventually express His sovereignty over the whole
world!

Why
Are Christians Smiling?
Surely,
in a
society that defies even common decency, Christians who smile
and rejoice must be a rare breed! Just
what is the source of this optimism while all the clouds of
the kingdom of darkness usher in the threat of doomsday? While many legislators
bask in the prospects of permanently silencing through
legislation the Christian voices within our nation? While many courts
openly express hostility toward Christians and Christian
values and continue to wage war through judicial tyranny? And many other sordid
evils boil out of control?
Interesting questions, are they not? But consider this:
If in this life only we
have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable
(I Corinthians
15:19).
This
declaration from Scripture addresses the evils promulgated
through the kingdom of darkness. In other
words, Christians must never attach hope to the efforts of
humanity, for they shall fail us every time. While we are to work
for and pray for changes within our political system, we must
guard ourselves against a false sense that our security lies
within the structure of any government or peoples. We find ourselves
frequently betrayed, for the forces of darkness will always
influence and often control the natural person, who cares
nothing about Christianity and Christian values. Quite the contrary,
the genuine Christian's hope is in God, that He is ultimately
in control and will one glorious day purge our world and
establish His Kingdom in which all Christians will reign with
Him.
Isn’t that something for Christians to smile
about… even in the face of gloating politicians who seek our
destruction?

Abstinence
Education too Effective for Congress to
Consider
Yes,
you
read it correctly!
Unfortunately,
hand-picked liberal “health experts” would denounce abstinence
education even with the statistical
evidence that abstinence education revealed to be 45 to 50
percent more effective in controlling the health of
participants against communicable diseases that spread through
sexual activity than the education of students concerning
so-called safe sex procedures. Thus, liberal Congress
has what it desires:
A flimsy excuse to support a push to discontinue
funding abstinence
education.
Anyway, who beyond a handful of decent-minded
congressmen cares about the well-being of our young people,
anyway? After
all, that is one avenue to eradicate the overpopulation that
liberals have complained
about!

Where’s
the Bottom of this Deep
Pit?
Surely,
there
must be a bottom! It’s
reported from a multiplicity of sources across our nation. For example, a student
from Colorado
speaks to attorneys regarding verbal
assaults against her Christian beliefs, and
intimidated openly by her professor with threats of giving her
tests failing grades because she refuses to deny her
faith on those tests' answers! She is
not alone in this dastardly denial of Constitutional
rights. Because
of the total contempt for the Constitution and laws throughout
our nation, there’s a free for all defiance of law and
order. Such
practices even defy the Supreme Court rulings and apparently
with impunity.
We cannot help calling to mind the pathetic
degeneration of Israel during Old Testament times when each
did what was right in his own eyes (Judges 17:6). Are we not already on
the threshold of total anarchy?

We
Must Bury the
Constitution?
Surely,
it
would be that way if certain congressmen, such as Senator
Kennedy, had their way! The proposed
Employment Non-Discrimination Act
(ENDA) would demand Christians be
castrated and ostracized from society with no possible future
influence whatsoever!
Their belief in marriage as instituted and promulgate
by Almighty God Himself and founded upon God alone provides a
challenge to egotistical people infatuated with self and who
desire to eradicate the true God such that they can wallow in
their CAPARA
with the delight that no other God can then compete with
their delusion of all power.
Yes, indeed, ENDA would allow the
government rather than religion to demand what marriage is and
would break ranks with most societies of the world which
practice marriage as between a man and a woman to establish
family and family values. Christians would be
reduced to non-entity status by the ENDA bill should
it pass.
Christians would be forced to accept government values
without protest.
In other words, the Constitutional guarantee of
religious liberty
would be a thing of the past.
DO WE REALLY WANT THIS TYPE OF
ENSLAVEMENT?
We who are decent and law-abiding
Christian citizens DO know the answer to this, do
we not? Let
us pray that even our last vestige of Democracy will not fade
from history!
Yet, we as Christians will never hate gay
people, but continue to detest their life style which can
destroy them!

Could
Wright Be Right?
Surely, it would be some awesome twist of the truth
to conclude that the Rev. Jeremiah Wright to be right in his
gross statements of bigotry that condemns all whites!
We refer to some
of his radical statements, such as stereotyping “white people”
as the enemy of Afro-Americans. Unfortunately, quite a
significant number of people who happen to belong to the
so-called white race do disgrace the human race by
their blatant racism,
but many of us know numerous people who happen to be
classified as white people who befriend and
sympathize with so-called black people, who would
move heaven and earth to champion their cause for justice and
equitable treatment.
Personally, I am
happy that God has given me the common sense to know that race
has no relevance to the nature and character of any human
being, that there remain both good and bad people in every
so-called race.
However, only God Himself retains the authority
and power to determine good and bad with
respect to each individual person. The only way we are
allowed to judge remains the biblical criteria, we’ll know
them by their fruit (Luke 6:43-45). BUT,
that knowledge does NOT grant us the
authority to condemn.
That role belongs only to God and to Him alone! But
It does afford us an opportunity to reach out to
those offenders in the spirit of genuine love and to lift up
Christ that His Holy Spirit may convict toward the end that
such people will become the children of God and bear good
fruit. See Judging.

A
Beam of Light into Our Darkness
Easter, more
than a passing holiday, more than a fleeting reflection, more
than Easter bunnies and colorful eggs, even more than a
reminder of the death, burial, and Resurrection of our Lord,
explodes
with living REALITY! Easter links to the
hope of the ages such that we find the dynamics of life,
expression and direction!
This moment during the year catches up the whole
year with the true meaning of our very existence:
LIFE’S
TRIUMPHANT VICTORY OVER DEATH, HELL
AND
THE GRAVE!
Therefore, within our political death trap, may
we understand that the victory belongs—not to us—but to God.
And Easter proves
His power to resurrect hope and eventually absolute victory
over the darkness sweeping across our
land.

What
of the Sacred
Document of
our forefathers?
Incredible
as it
may seem, the dreadful
dictatorial powers unleashed in the Senate, couched in
flaunting utter, unmitigated contempt for the Constitution of
the United States, speaks loud and clear of the alien forces
taking over the governing of our nation. We are totally losing
most of the distinguishing character of the nation our
forefathers created.
As for example, in
spite of efforts to buck this insurrection by some brave
Senators who pointed out that Senate rules which trump the
Constitutional procedures for the President's judicial
nominees to the courts to receive an up or
down vote by the Senate destroys Constitutional
rule and negates the Constitution as a whole. Indeed, in
establishing rules to provide filibustering to block an
up or down vote called for by the
Constitution of the
United
States, the Senate
radically snorts contempt for that Constitution.
When any group (the Senate, the House, the
courts) throw out the Constitution, that group snubs the rule
of law and order and initiates a process of rebellion leading
toward anarchy.
Therefore, we need to be indignant and
intolerant of efforts to ditch our nation for hostile rule of
the elite minority.
Every decent American must resist apathy and inertia
and create a unified demand that these dictatorial legislators
be brought back in line with our Constitution. Let us have the
backbone and guts of our forefathers to stand and cry with
them to give us liberty or give us
death!
Easily
said, we might
say. Yes, many of
us may be in the dark with respect to how we can take
action. Let us
consider the very first line of defense—prayer. If
America would fall to her
knees, we would be surprised how much difference that prayer
alone would make.
Then, under the direction of biblical principles, we
could act on the opportunities we yet have (Romans
13:1-8). We could
vote! We do need
a change by electing senators and other political candidates
who have conviction and principle. Beyond that, we can be
involved in contacting our congressmen with our
indignation. We
can also look for every opportunity to align ourselves with
groups like ACLJ and
LC or voter
information.
If we all band together, we could start reclaiming our
nation!

See
Berkley for a Newsworthy
Disscusion
Valentines
Day has come. Considering what has
transpired in Berkley,
California, and a struggle
in Congress to take reprisal action, hatred and outright
contempt for the history and heritage of our nation all but
blot out the significance of this day to recognize the value
of family and friends, honor each other and celebrate
LOVE
for each other.
Berkley City
Council expressed contempt and hostilities toward the Marines
and the recruiting service present in that city, demanded that
they leave as unwelcome intruders and even accused of being
mass murders. See
Berkley.
A movement in
Congress to deny allocated government funds to that city
because of illegal obstruction to the recruiting station has met with obstinate
obstruction from a significant number of Congress
persons.
Yes, we fear you have
read correctly.
Isn’t it extraordinarily difficult to believe that we
live in the United
States any more with
such enemies of our heritage quite diametrically opposed to
the foundational principles upon which our government
originated! In
yesteryears such stance would have been considered no less
than treason.
Such action as occurred illegally in
Berkley and supported by
certain persons of Congress quite frankly stinks. Such a disposition
reveals the whole
lot to be identified with the radical Islamic terrorists
who are indeed the beneficiaries of their
alignment.
If this assessment seems harsh, it is and intentionally
so. It is
time for all genuine American citizens to say enough is
enough.
Sure, to be an American gives every person a right to
protest, but never a right to resort to illegal recourse that
endangers the security of our own nation, to disregard law and
order and to introduce the elements leading toward
anarchy. And to think that even
some members of Congress encourage such rebellion by blocking
reprisals goes beyond the very minimum fabric which defines us
as Americans and demands us by decency to concede such members
of Congress to be the enemies of America!
I am forced to admit this horrible estate as the
writer for this website, but I do so with much trepidation and
genuine disturbance.
I am so very saddened by that possibility and desire
that there has been some miscommunication. I would be delighted
to be proven wrong, but if the facts have been accurately
reported, we must come to grips with the grave seriousness of
this plight.

Could
the Impossible Happen?
Surely,
it would be
marvelous if the impossible took place! As we look toward
Valentine’s
Day, would not that reflection become
substantive if politicians could
demonstrate a little altruistic love and less moved toward
manipulation and exploitation of the political process toward
personal interest and advantage at the expense of the
America voters?

Economic
Tailspin
What brought on the
economic tailspin?
Whatever it was,
the out-of-control economy has certainly caught our attention
in a big fashion.
We hear cries of blame and marvel at how
many insist that the government bail them out. Those who indulge
in making the government the infinite source of wealth to bail
them out do not bother to reflect on the heavy drain upon
taxpayers who would be required to finance such a mammoth
project. Those
innocent, disciplined citizens who have never gone overboard
nor engaged in irresponsible credit pits would be victimized
while those who have faltered would learn nothing from their
cheap impositions.
What ever
happened with the principle of learning from failures? What happened to the
fact that actions and behavior yield
consequences?
Therefore, allow
us to focus on some of the elements:
Economic concern
measured by a growing outcry within our society may well
impact the outcome of the 2008 presidential
election.
However,
speculation regarding the dramatic downturn of our nation’s
economic stability may well be founded upon false
presuppositions that often implicate the President and the
legislators for failing to head off the recession and
stimulate the economy.
But perhaps much
of the misconceptions regarding this mammoth problem find a
forewarning within the Bible:
Do not
be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that
will he also reap.
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap
corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit
reap everlasting life.
--Galatians
6:7-8 NKJV
(See
Assessing the House
of Cards)
What we gather
from this enlightening Scripture most assuredly addresses the
problems with the economy, as well as with other prevalent
disturbances exploding all too frequently across the
landscape. Thus, the economic
downturn and other disasters reflect the symptoms of deeper
dispositions, attitudes begging the issues and demanding
simplistic initiatives for superficial Band-Aids in an effort
for quick fixes!
This assessment
points out the dire need to thrust aside all the emotional and
mental static clouding the issues and uncover the underlying
seeds which have germinated and born the fruits we label as
our current economic instability leading toward our
national disaster.
Allow us to
consider a few underlying reasons for our problems:
1)
God has been given
more than an abrupt demand to exit our nation and leave us to
attend our own affairs with nothing beyond our own efforts,
initiative and ingenuity.
2)
In our greed and
lust for securing instant gratification from our very own
wealth and lucrative nest in which to wallow in our sense of
worth and embellishment, many of us have resorted to digging a
financial hole with mountains of credit. This has already led
to many foreclosures and bankruptcies.
3)
Mortgage companies
and banks have also fallen victim to their own greed. They found an
opportunity to profit through capitalizing on the quick fix
that borrowers have been seeking. Therefore, some consumers
have applied for and received additional loans, which, in
reality, go beyond their ability to keep up with those
additional payments on the loans. Hence, many such
lenders also rush toward the brink of folding under.
4)
Greed of OPEC
countries to exploit opportunities to bring down our country
and our national economy has apparently succeeded. Our own nation and
those countries considered aligned with the
United
States are all targeted
for destruction.
These calloused regimes have obviously conspired
banefully to soak these nations for all they are worth.
While many other
factors beyond what has herein been listed also had an
influence with respect to our current national economic
status, these factors pointed out within this presentation
hold some significant pivotal keys, which should be
addressed. As a
matter of fact, if these elements are not adequately
addressed, it would be highly unlikely that a resolution can
be found!
May we all join in
prayer that our nation awakens, that our political
representatives may awaken to the right course of action.

A
New Year Built on Crucial
Decisions
This new year we
have now entered may actually hold the key to our very
survival—or demise! That assessment
should cause every American to wrench with agonizing
concern. Yet, one
of the greatest enemies of our American heritage is apathy
coupled with indifference.
We may well be
shocked to know the percentage of people who do not even care
to learn enough about the candidates to exercise their right
to vote. Some may
have given up in disgust. Others may be so
preoccupied with self concerns as to shut out the broader
world. Still
others may have resorted to pleasure, withdrawal into other
escape mechanisms or simply fallen into an unrealistic
daydreaming about the impossible fairy deliverance from the
quagmire of legislative and judicial agendas to erect a
totalitarian government which will indeed suppress our
constitutional liberties even further.
Whatever it is,
time is running out.
Unless we act now, we may awaken to find ourselves
totally in bondage in our once free
America! Let all of us open our
eyes and pray.
May we not miss the opportunity to vote.
Assessing the House of
Cards
Unless the LORD builds
the house, they labor in vain who build it… Psalm
127:1a
Ms. Prissy could scarcely have been
more determined to maintain the soft, delicate touch in her house of cards than
she would have done
had she tiptoed cautiously in her bare feet through a
field of broken glass.
Yet, as precarious as her dwelling’s structure hung
together, lending itself to collapsing at the slightest
miscue, Ms. Prissy herself showed little apprehension,
scarcely more than a wince now and then during close calls
with respect to the future of her home.
Quite the contrary, when she greeted the official Life
Inspector, she assumed a resolute and confident demeanor, at
least for the observer, anyway.
Ms. Prissy: Oh, inspector, do come
on in, but please be careful not to touch anything. I do believe you
understand my being a bit fussy. I’m quite proud of my
house. I’ve
placed every card such that I know the structure from floor to
roof, and I take great effort to assure each piece to be in a
position to lend support to other pieces.
Life Inspector: Why,
thank you. But of
course, you do understand why I am here, my dear young
lady?
Ms. Prissy: Well, inspector, I have
been informed that you wish to inspect my dwelling—to make
sure it’s suitable for me—but of course, as careful and
observant as I am, I dare say you’ll find me quite prepared to
take care of this delicate structure. You know, I’d dare
venture to say that the King Himself would marvel at my
accomplishment.
Life Inspector: Well,
you might say as much, but really, I’m more
concerned for you, for your well being. After all this
dwelling certainly doesn’t lend itself to a very secure
posture, does it?
I mean, even a brisk breeze could topple these as-one-might-say
curious and interesting, but delicately balanced,
cards.
Ms. Prissy: Quite frankly,
Inspector, I’m the kind of person who… well, I get along well
in this house.
You see, I do have wind breakers that help protect this
structure. And
these cards are coated to repel the rain.
Life Inspector: Surely,
you’ve heard of the marble marvels of the King, Ms.
Prissy. Those
huge structures not only glitter in spectacular and majestic
towers like giants rising toward the sky, but they reward
visitors who enter the portals with unimagined eloquence and
awesome accommodations beyond the fondest stretch of human
concepts. What
further sets these creations apart from ever person’s ability
to visualize, more than all the ecstasy and awe anyone could
ever imagine, lies in the absolute eternal duration of that
city created by the King Himself. But even that doesn’t
begin to scratch the surface of that city.
Ms. Prissy: Just what does all that
have to do with me?
Life Inspector: Believe
it or not, Ms. Prissy, the King has extended through me an
offer to bring you there to that city and give you one of
those glorious and eternal structures that can never topple as
could your house of cards.
Ms. Prissy: I’m really sorry,
inspector, but I have been struggling to maintain my home here
and don’t have time to pursue some fantasy. If I may be candid
with you, I don’t know what your scheme is and what you take
me for, but I am neither stupid nor naïve.
Life Inspector: I do
understand your reservation concerning such that defies human
understanding, but reality can never be
the product of human creation or human endeavor or, in some
cases, even human understanding.
Ms. Prissy: I’m
impressed with your rhetoric, but I…
Life Inspector: Oh, I’m
not trying to impress you, my dear. Really, take an old
lady such as I.
If these wrinkles predispose me to wisdom, you might
conclude that few people could be as wise as I, but I assure
you, my young friend, that no physical characteristics become
credentials of anyone’s wisdom. And neither does youth
preclude understanding.
Reality remains independent of all such
indicators. I do
not prejudge you—or your skepticism at my proposal, but I do
assure you that I am straight forward with
you.
Ms. Prissy: Oh, and what, if I may
ask, do you propose what-you-call reality to be?
Life Inspector: My dear
lady, it really doesn’t change things one iota what I propose
reality to be.
However, what I have brought to you by way of an offer
has the seal and official credentials of the King
Himself.
Ms. Prissy: Oh? And why should I be
singled out for this offer? I am just an ordinary
person with no outstanding achievements to merit special
recognition.
Life Inspector: If you
did consider
yourself to be worthy and prepared to receive the King’s
recognition, my young lady, that in and of itself alone would
indicate that you certainly would deserve no consideration
from the King whatsoever.
Ms. Prissy: Ms. …Ms. …
Life Inspector: I’m
Angie. Angie
Wright, the King’s courier and minister of state
affairs.
Ms. Prissy: Please forgive me, but
I’m a bit timid about taking a person’s word, especially
someone I do not personally know. Anyway, kings
generally commission men, not women.
Life Inspector (Handing
Ms. Prissy the King’s insignia):
Why, of course kings most often do chose
men of prestige, but our King truly is different. He makes neither
distinction between men and women, nor poor and wealthy, nor
status, nor race, nor age. Every person has equal
opportunity before Him.
Ms. Prissy: If that is true, I’m
very sorry that I have never come to know our King, what kind
of person He is.
But you know, this certainly is His insignia. I’ve seen it before.
Life Inspector: Oh, my
dear, I could tell you a lot about our King, things that most
people do not know.
One thing is for certain, though: He has always worked
hard to show His love to everyone. He works tirelessly to
reach out to everybody, but it takes a lot of time and great
effort to reach everyone in His kingdom.
Ms. Prissy: But how does he even
know I exist, much less what my current status is?
Life Inspector: That’s
simple. You see,
He has over the years sent thousands of watch dogs throughout
His kingdom and they report to Him frequently. That’s exactly how He
knows about you and why among the ones I’ve been sent to for
the King you are included.
Ms. Prissy: Well, strangely—and I
can’t believe I’m saying this—but, it is something I’d like to
believe—I think.
Life Inspector: I can
understand why you’d like to believe it. At first, it sounds
too good to be true, but deep down within your heart you must
sense that it’s far too
good not to be
true.
Ms. Prissy: You certainly have
perceptions that defy my ability to understand, even with all
my education… but…
well, you are beginning to ring true sure enough. If only I could get
some sort of handle on what you are saying…
Life Inspector: You’d
like to feel a little more secure before you venture a
risk?
Right?
Ms. Prissy: As I said, you have a
way of reading a person very well.
Life Inspector: If I
may, my dear child, I’d like to ask you some probing
questions.
Ms. Prissy: I suppose,
inspector. After
all, this really is a new experience for me and I’m trying to
keep an open mind.
Life Inspector: Do you
not live with risk already? Here, everyday must be
filled with a bit of uncertainty. You must have worked
hard to drive yourself into this challenging undertaking. After all, your house
of cards certainly depends on your careful and meticulous
attention to every detail in the design and precise
positioning of every card.
Ms. Prissy: Why, you’re right, you
know… only, I’ve been telling myself how wonderful it is to
invest in this challenge… only, sometimes I don’t think I’m
really listening well to what I do tell myself. Really, when I stop to
think of it, I am tired—very tired. No! Absolutely not! I shouldn’t give in… I
can’t allow myself to relax.
Life Inspector: It’s
all right, child.
You must face up to reality. You don’t need to
prove anything—not even to yourself.
Ms. Prissy: But I can’t relax. My whole house would
tumble.
Life Inspector: So, let
it. You’re of
infinite more worth than a thousand of these houses
constructed of cards!
Ms. Prissy: But this house is who I
am. I’ve poured
my life into it.
Life Inspector: You’re
right, but now is the very moment to let go so that you can
have much, much more—and in a secure
environment!
Ms. Prissy: Please, I don’t know
what to think anymore.
I just feel like opening the floodgates and crying my
heart out.
Life Inspector: Do
it! That’s a way
to let it all out.
Release it and you’ll find yourself extricated, as free
as a bird.
Ms. Prissy: Oh, my—one little shove
and the whole structure tumbles… but… but
Life Inspector: Yes, my
dear, as hard as it is, you need to break cleanly with your
past. Just let
your past go!
Ms. Prissy: But all the memories…
the room over there has my stranger in it—or
had.
Life Inspector: Your
stranger?
Ms. Prissy: Yes. I’ve not been in to
see her in… in… well, it’s hard to recall when. She’s Myself and I used to talk to
her every day. I
finally started withdrawing from her because… well, because I
didn’t like her too much once I got to knowing her. Funny, though, I just
can’t bring myself to kick her out. It’s like a dark
shadow I am afraid to shed light on, but I’m afraid to kick
her out at the same time.
Life Inspector: Well,
it’s best to let Yourself go. Just get a new start.
Ms. Prissy: I don’t really
know. You see, if
I destroy her room and let her go, the other room over there
will topple also, and that has My Future in it. That young lady
fascinates me, but sometimes she seems to have great promise
and sometimes she creates great fear in me—like a door to an
unknown world.
Life Inspector: That’s
true. Your Future will leave, but
she will be found in the King’s eternal dwelling. You’ll have contact
with her through the good graces of the King when it’s for
your own good.
Ms. Prissy: OK. OK. But then I jeopardize
the room over there also—the one with My Will in it. She really watches out
for me and it would be hard to do without her. Only, she’s always
spurring me on, but I don’t always feel right. My Guilt, who is her companion
living there with her, chides me and spits in my face all
those selfish acts I do, not because I want to hurt anyone,
but because… because I… I just do them. I mean, I sometimes
feel that I would like to treat myself to a good time, even
if… if… well, I don’t mean to shy away from my duties and
responsibilities and do things that cause others hardship…
but… but…
Life Inspector: You
find it difficult to separate yourself from Your Will? And you feel Your Guilt will stick to you
regardless?
Ms. Prissy: Well, I think that’s
it.
Life Inspector: May I
be perfectly candid with you? Your Will is imprisoned here
in your house. If
you release her, you’ll find new liberty, because you’ll be in
control of Your Will, not a duty-minded
slave to her. If
you free her, she’ll be your companion rather than your
master. Than Your Will can serve you toward
the ends that you know are right.
Ms. Prissy: I’m not sure I
understand. How
can I control her?
Life Inspector: You
certainly can’t do that without yourself changing completely,
and you change only when you break with your past to become a
new citizen of the King!
And what’s more, the King Himself has sent me to you
and He has authorized all the payment needed to take care of
Your Guilt. The King has taken
care of Everyone’s Guilt at great cost
to Himself, but that payment is for everyone who will accept
it. So, you need
never be hounded by Your Guilt anymore! When you have
liberated Your Will and she becomes your
companion, you can make decisions together toward fulfilling
your purpose in life and hence find Your Guilt has been taken care
of.
Ms. Prissy: But… But what do I do?
Life Inspector: Abandon
everything! Just
topple your house of cards and liberate yourself to take the
journey toward the King’s City.
Ms. Prissy: How can I afford such a
trip?
Life Inspector: How can
you not afford to
start the journey?
The King has friends all along the way who will gladly
provide for you and encourage you. All you need do is
invest your life in the trip and throw yourself into helping
others along the way—even at great expense and effort on your
part and you will find fulfillment, joy and
peace.
Ms. Prissy: I don’t really
know. I… I…
Life Inspector: Please
listen to me. You
can never know until you trust and launch out into the
unknown. Only
then can the reality of what I am telling you be
discovered.
Ms. Prissy: But… But all this is
the work of my own hands. I’ve thrown my life
into it. How can
I just destroy it?
Life Inspector: Very
well, if that is your decision, so be it, but I have presented
to you reality.
What you choose to believe is up to you. I’ll be on my way and
thank you for considering what I have presented to you. May…
Ms. Prissy: No, wait! I…
Life Inspector: Look,
if your mind’s made up, you’re wasting both your time and my
time. I must
go. I have
other…
Ms. Prissy: No! Look! I’m toppling this
house! Yes, I’m
deciding to trust you.
I’ll do as you say.
Life Inspector: I
assure you, Ms. Prissy, you’ll never regret this
decision. The way
will be difficult some of the time, but you’ll find strength
and encouragement in the King’s presence through His servants
all along your life’s journey. Just keep pressing
on. And
remember: The King’s city will be
open to you at the end of the path.
So, Ms. Prissy had the courage to deliver. She destroyed her
flimsy house of cards, that creation which represented the
capture of her vision, of her pride and joy. But in the overall
scope of life such a vision proved short-sighted
indeed.
Ms. Prissy, however, had a willingness to respond to a
higher and nobler reality. She began to see
beyond the limitations of her own station in life and found
her purpose in an unlimited and unending light beaming from
the City of the King, a city which could be her eternal
dwelling, where buildings were made of marble, not cards that
could tumble with the least provocation.
